The different colors are used to represent how Coca-Cola has specific bottlers that exclusively serve specific geographical areas. The exclamation point marks the location in which Coca-Cola was first discovered, and the line represents the first "global" movement of Coca-Cola, sending the product overseas to support American troops during the war. Bottling companies were first set up in Europe to easily serve the troops.

The House Icon represents the bottling company as a whole, and the connected colored markers represent a few countries in which the company has bottling plants. This representation is intended to show how The Coca-Cola Company has glocalized through horizontally integrating regional bottling companies.
